Can You Think Like Harry Brook?

Can You Think Like Harry Brook?

Harry Brook likes to attack.

That's hardly a secret.

He's made a career out of putting bowlers under pressure and has taken that approach across formats - from T20 cricket to a Test triple-century. Today, he's also England's white-ball captain.

But attacking cricket isn't just about trying to hit every ball for six.

It's about making decisions.

So here's your chance to think like the Strikers' Super Coach.

Situation 1

You've just arrived at the crease.

Your team has lost two quick wickets.

The bowler is on top and the fielding side is loud.

Do you:

A. Shut up shop and survive?
B. Take a few balls to understand what's happening?
C. Look for an opportunity to immediately put pressure back on the bowler?

There isn't always one perfect answer.

That's cricket.

Situation 2

You're 35 not out and batting brilliantly.

Then you play a terrible shot.

Next ball - do you stop playing your shots because you're worried about getting out?

Or do you trust the game that got you to 35?

That's the interesting thing about fearless players.

Fearless doesn't mean careless.

Brook himself has spoken about the importance of staying level-headed over a long cricket career.

The best attacking players still read the game. They understand risk. They make decisions.

They're simply willing to commit when they make one.

That's the challenge for every future Striker.

Be brave. But be smart.

Next time you're batting, ask yourself:

What would I do here?

Then back your decision.
